This free tool uses AI to give you an instant, data-based estimate of what your motor vehicle accident case might be worth. The estimate is a starting point, not a promise. Every case is different, and the only reliable way to value yours is a review of your specific facts by an attorney.
The bottom line
The calculator asks you a short series of questions about a motor vehicle accident: how the crash happened, your injuries, your medical treatment, time missed from work, and who was at fault. An AI model compares your answers with information from past cases and returns an estimated value range. The whole process usually takes 2 to 5 minutes, and it is free.
The tool focuses on car and other motor vehicle accidents. If you were hurt in some other kind of accident, skip the calculator and contact us for a free case review instead.
An estimate built from past case data is a useful starting point. It is much better than guessing, and it is more honest than the simple “multiply your medical bills” formulas used by many online calculators.
But no calculator, including ours, can see everything that decides what a case is actually worth. It does not know the at-fault driver’s insurance policy limits, which often cap what you can actually collect. It cannot weigh the strength of your evidence, judge how a jury in your county would react, or account for every detail of shared fault. The estimate reflects a possible total case value, not a promise of what you will recover.
That is why the tool carries a plain warning, and we mean it: the best source of information about the value of your case is a consultation with an attorney.
Whether a number comes from an AI model or a lawyer’s experience, the same things drive the value of a California injury case:
For a deeper look at how these pieces fit together, read our guide to how car accident settlements are calculated in California.
The calculator gives you a starting point in minutes. An attorney’s evaluation tells you what your specific case is worth against the specific insurance coverage available, with your specific evidence. A lawyer also protects value no estimate can capture: gathering evidence before it disappears, dealing with the insurance company so you do not undercut your own claim, and preparing the case for trial if the offer is not fair.
One deadline matters no matter what any estimate says: in California, most injury lawsuits must be filed within two years of the injury under CCP § 335.1. Wait too long and even the strongest case is worth nothing.
Gammill Law is a Torrance personal injury firm serving the South Bay and all of California. The consultation is free, and we work on a no-win, no-fee basis: you pay attorney fees only if we recover for you. Run the calculator, then tell us what it said, or skip it and call 310-750-4149. Either way, you get a straight answer about your case.
